    Offer details/FeaturesGVP is a value added services which the customer opts for to get rewards for international spends.
    This is an auto-renewal program and the charges cited are for the annual membership fee.

    Features -

    1. Welcome Benefit - 500 Bonus Reward Points on 1st International transaction. This feature is available once in the first year. The same would not be given upon Renewal.
    Please Note - Eg. If Customer 'A' activates GVP on 1st April 2019 on their Credit Card XX34 and de-activates it after using it for 2 years, i.e on 31st May 2021. Customer 'A' again freshly activates it again on their Credit Card XX34, then they won't be eligible for the welcome benefit as it is a strict one time bonus regardless of multiple activations on the same card.

    2. Cashback Benefit - 1% Cashback on all International transactions (upto Rs. 1,000/- per statement cycle).

    3. Milestone Benefit – Get Rs. 2,000/- worth Make My Trip/Clear Trip/Yatra/Ease My Trip voucher once you accumulate International spends of Rs. 1,50,000/- in a year after activating GVP.
    Please note - This feature is available every year from the start date of your activation to the next year renewal date.
    Eligible CustomersAll customers who have GVP enabled are eligible for the rewards. Please note that welcome benefit bonus of 500 reward points will be awarded only once and the same will not be awarded upon renewal.
    Qualifying TransactionAtleast one International transaction
    IllustrationsMr ABC has done two International transactions of Rs. 50,000 and 30,000. Mr ABC will be eligible for a 1% cashback of Rs. 800.
    Mr ABC has done three International transactions of Rs. 50,000 and 30,000 and 40,000 in a statement cycle. Mr ABC will be eligible for a 1% cashback of Rs. 1,000 as the maximum cashback that can be earned for a statement cycle is Rs. 1,000.
    Mr ABC has done three International transactions of Rs. 50,000 and 60,000 and 40,000 in a span of 12 months and has accumulated a total spend of Rs. 1,50,000. Mr ABC will be eligible for a 1% cashback for that respective statement cycle. Additionaly, Mr ABC will be eligible for a Yatra/Make My Trip, Ease My Trip/Clear Trip Gift voucher worth Rs. 2,000. This gift voucher will be shared once a year upon achieving the spend threshold of 1.5 lakhs or more.

    Please NoteThe above are the only two methods to activate GVP. No other method would be taken for activation.

     

    Card Holder/s whose account has been classified as delinquent before or during the currency of the Program, or when the gift is to be collected, will not be eligible for the benefits of the Program. For GVP, 1% cashback will be posted for transactions that have been made before the customer's account gets classified as delinquent.

     

    All queries with regards to the Offer (including GVP Milestone benefit) will be valid/open for escalation only up to 60 days from the offer fulfilment date – post which the Bank will not entertain any queries. For GVP, queries wrt cancellation/1% cashback/500 Bonnu RPs will be taken up at any point in time as long as the customer fulfils the conditions for cancellation.

     

    HDFC Bank reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether. For GVP, a prior notice will be sent to the customers who are enrolled for the program for any changes made.

    2The welcome benefit of 500 Bonus rewards will be applicable only for the 1st International transaction and only for the first year. The same would not be given after renewal of fees for the second year and so on. Even if the customer deactivates GVP and activates GVP after 2-3 years, they will not be eligible for the welcome benefit on the same card if they have already claimed it once before.
    31% cashback (max capped upto 1,000 per statement cycle) will be posted on the next statement cycle of the customer's credit card. 
    4GVP should only be activated on the primary card. If it is activated on the Add-on card/Floater add-on card (add on cards with different card number), GVP activation will not be considered. The customer will not receive any benefits even if they receive confirmation (from front end/phone banking team etc) that GVP is activated.
    51% cashback will only be applicable for International transactions (Tran Code D25) where transaction done in foreign currency and not in INR. DCC transactions (International transaction payments done in INR) will not be applicable for 1% cashback. 
    6For Cancellation of GVP, the customer should have not done any International transactions after activation/renewal of GVP. Once the same has been confirmed, GVP cancellation request will be taken up and the fees along with GST will be reversed.
