FAQ’s (JetPrivilege/Intermiles)
JetPrivilege HDFC Bank Co-brand card includes the below cards:
• JetPrivilege HDFC Bank Signature Debit Card
• JetPrivilege HDFC Bank World Debit Card
Q. I am currently travelling/staying abroad. No one can collect the Debit Card at my registered mail address. Can the Debit Card be sent to any HDFC Bank branch?
•Please note that if you are travelling/staying abroad, you may update your mailing address through NetBanking, and we will arrange to send the card to your updated mailing address.
•If you wish to receive the new Debit Card at your nearest HDFC Bank branch, please provide the branch details by contacting the nearest branch. We will send the card to the desired branch if the card has not been dispatched to your mailing address before receiving the request.
Q. I am travelling/staying abroad and want the card to be dispatched within a few days or after a fixed date.
•Bank will initiate re-carding activity for your JetPrivilege Debit Card as per the actual process; however, if there is no one at the registered mailing address, the card will be delivered to your home branch. You may contact your home branch to collect the card.
•If you cannot collect the card from the home branch, we request you to go to the nearest HDFC Bank branch as per your convenience with the existing JetPrivilege Debit card and take an Insta (Non personalized) Millennia chip Debit Card.
Q. Is the New Millennia Debit Card chargeable?
•This card comes to you without any fee for the first year, and an annual fee of 500 will be applicable from 2nd year onwards.

Q. Can I get different variant card?
•If you are holding a discontinued variant, you will receive an upgraded one. Please refer to the table below.

•The chip card will be an upgraded Debit Card for the first year free. We request to check the features of the Debit Card and use it. If you still want another Debit Card variant, then please upgrade the card by visiting the branch.
Q. Will my new chip Debit Card number be the same as my existing card? I have registered my current Debit Card in 3rd party payment merchants. Do I need to update the card details?
•Your new Debit Card will have a different card no. If any payment instructions (auto payments) are on the existing Debit Card, it needs to be updated with new card details.
Q. What is the process of receiving the PIN for the new Debit Card?
•You will receive a Green Pin OTP on your registered Mobile Number; then, you can set a Debit Card ATM PIN of your choice using the OTP at any HDFC Bank ATM.
Q. Can the existing card be kept active?
•On the usage of the new card for 90 days from the date of issuance (whichever is earlier), your old card will be automatically de-activated.
Q. What happens to the JetPrivilege/Intermiles Membership number on my Debit Card?
•Your Membership number does not change. However, if the card gets blocked, you will not earn any rewards in the form of Miles using the same card.
Q. How can I redeem my existing miles?
•You may continue utilizing the existing miles balance until expiry. Please click here to check & redeem your miles.
Q. Will I be able to use my miles rewards even after JetPrivilege’s association with HDFC Bank ends?
•All the miles that you have earned till now will be safe & secure in your Membership Account. You may continue utilizing the existing miles balance until expiry against travel and lifestyle rewards, including flight, hotel, shopping vouchers, fuel, etc. Click here to learn more!
Q. What happens to my existing JetPrivilege Account and the miles rewards I have earned? Will I be able to redeem them?
•
Your existing Membership Account will remain active along with all previously earned miles rewards. You may continue utilizing the current miles balance until expiry against travel and lifestyle rewards, including flight, hotel, shopping vouchers, fuel, etc.

Q. What is the validity of Miles?
•At the end of every calendar month, each Account will be reviewed. As long as the Membership Account reflects at least one Accrual Activity or Award Activity in the preceding 18-month period, the Miles accrued in the JetPrivilege Account will remain valid and available for redemption.
•E.g., the Miles credited to the Account on 15 December 2021 will be reviewed at the end of each calendar month, and so long as the Account reflects at least one activity in the period 1 July 2020 and 31 December 2021, the miles will be extended for one more month.
•Activity includes all transactions you earn or redeem miles, like flight and hotel bookings, shopping, and purchases on DigiStores.
Q. What happens to my current Tier Status?
•
Tier status will be reviewed monthly as per our program T&C. To continue enjoying your tier status and relevant benefits, we request you to keep transacting on the IM platform (website/app) to earn miles rewards. For more details, please

Q. I did not see the communication related to the end of the HDFC Bank JetPrivilege Debit Card and have been using my card – what should I do next?
•You will receive Miles rewards for all the transactions you have done till now with your JetPrivilege HDFC Bank co-brand Debit Card. After discontinuing this card, you will not earn any further Miles rewards.
Q. Can I still earn Miles even after my card is closed?
•You can still earn Miles for transactions done on the “InterMiles platform” and enjoy a host of special offers. You earn Miles on flight booking, hotel booking, shopping, fuel, dining and more!
Q. If I have booked my hotel/flight before the card got discontinued, will I get rewards on my booking?
•Yes, you will receive rewards for any transaction before discontinuing your JetPrivilege HDFC Bank co-brand Debit Card.
