How to Enable Online Usage for Your HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card
If your HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card is disabled for online transactions, follow these steps to enable it:
Option 1: Via HDFC Bank MyCards
1. Log in to HDFC Bank MyCards (https://mycards.hdfcbank.com/)
2. Add your debit card by following these steps:
> Enter your registered mobile number to receive an OTP.
> Select the Add Card icon and choose your debit card.
> Click Next, enter the last four digits of your card and your date of birth, then select Done.
3. Enable online usage by:
> Select the Debit Card Tab
> Click on Card Control button> >> Turn On ‘Online Usage’ under ‘Daily Domestic Usage/Limits’ and ‘Daily International Usage/Limits’
> Click on Continue
Option 2: Via HDFC Bank Net Banking
1. Log in to HDFC Bank Netbanking
2. Navigate to Cards >> Cards tab >> Debit Cards section >> Request >> Set Card Usage/Limits
3. Select your card >> Turn On ‘Online Usage’ under ‘Daily Domestic Usage/Limits’ and ‘Daily International Usage/Limits’
4. Click on Continue

1. This offer is valid only for new HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Cards linked to Savings Accounts, Salary Accounts, or Current Accounts issued between April 1, 2025, and April 30, 2025.
2. To qualify for the voucher, customers must complete cumulative transactions of at least ?2,500 by April 30, 2025. (Customer identification is based on their Customer ID.)
3. Vouchers will be shared with eligible customers via their registered email ID or SMS within 90 days from the end of the offer period, on a best-effort basis. (Example: If the campaign transaction period is April 2025, the voucher will be posted on or before July 31, 2025)

1. Offer Details:
Apply for a new HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card between April 1, 2025, and April 30, 2025, and receive a ?500 voucher by making cumulative spends of ?2,500 or more within this period.
2. Eligible Transactions:
The offer is applicable only on transactions successfully completed through POS, Contactless, and E-commerce (E-COM) using the HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card.
3. Enabling Online Transactions (if disabled):
If your HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card is disabled for online usage, enable it by using the following steps:
-Mycards: https://mycards.hdfcbank.com/
-Net Banking: https://netbanking.hdfcbank.com/netbanking/
-Mobile Banking app (v 8.1.0 and above)
-Call on IVR @ 18602676161
-Once the card is enabled for online usage, the customer can proceed with online transactions.
4. Eligibility:
• The voucher offer is applicable only for new HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Cards linked to Savings, Salary, or Current Accounts, issued between April 1, 2025, and April 30, 2025.
• Additionally, the customer must complete a cumulative spend of ?2,500 before April 30, 2025 (Customer identification is based on Customer ID).
5. Offer Validity:
The offer period is from April 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025.
6. Exclusions:
The offer cannot be combined with any other promotions on HDFC Bank Debit Cards.
7. Returns & Cancellations:
The offer is not applicable in cases of returns or partial cancellations.
8. Voucher Redemption Costs:
Any additional cost for voucher redemption shall be borne by the customer.
9. Queries & Complaints:
Any queries or complaints regarding the offer must be raised only after the end of the Turnaround Time (TAT) for voucher fulfilment (90 days).
10. Customer Support for Queries:
Queries related to the offer will be entertained only within 90 days after the voucher fulfilment period.
After this period, the bank will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding the offer.
11. Offer Applicability:
This offer is valid only for HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Cards.
12. ATM Withdrawals:
ATM withdrawals will not be considered for the offer.
13. Eligible Transactions:
Only approved and validated spends, transactions, payments, or purchases made using the HDFC Bank Platinum Debit Card will be considered for the voucher.
Cancelled or returned transactions will not qualify.
Offer clubbing is not permitted.
14. Exclusions for the Voucher Offer:
The following transactions are not eligible for the voucher offer:
-Investment & Insurance Products (e.g., Mutual Funds, Bonds, Stocks, Options, Derivatives, etc.).
-Wallet Loads & E-Wallet Transactions (e.g., PayZapp, Amazon Pay, Google Pay).
-Credit Card Bill Payments.
-International Transactions (i.e., Non-INR transactions made online or at POS, as well as INR transactions conducted outside India).
-Cash on Delivery (COD).
-Forex, Betting, and Gambling Transactions.
-Fund Transfers to Another Account Using the Debit Card.
-Fraudulent Transactions.
15. Gaming, Betting & Gambling Transactions:
Transactions conducted at merchants dealing in gaming, betting, and gambling will not be eligible for the offer, even if they fall under eligible merchant categories.
16. SmartBuy & PayZapp Transactions:
Transactions made via SmartBuy using the HDFC Bank Debit Card or Debit Card EMI will not be considered for this offer.
If a customer uses their Debit Card via PayZapp for fuel payments, the transaction will not be eligible for the voucher under this offer.
17. Bank’s Liability & Disclaimer:
-HDFC Bank does not provide any warranty or guarantee regarding the quality, delivery, or usability of the vouchers.
-Any issues related to the voucher must be resolved directly with the issuing partner, without reference to HDFC Bank.
18. Bank’s Rights:
-HDFC Bank reserves the right to modify, alter, or withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.
-The bank will not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of the voucher.
19. Customer Eligibility:
The offer is applicable to all HDFC Bank Debit Card customers, except Virtual, Netsafe, and ATM Card customers.
20. Live Account Requirement:
-The voucher will be issued only to customers with active accounts.
-Customers who close their accounts before the voucher fulfilment date will not be eligible.
21. Acceptance of Terms:
Any customer availing of this offer shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
22. Legal Jurisdiction:
All disputes arising out of or in connection with this offer will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts/tribunals in Mumbai, India, regardless of whether courts/tribunals in other regions have jurisdiction.
23. Fuel Tagging:
Fuel tagging for winner evaluation will be considered as per VISA/Mastercard guidelines.
24. Communication & Offer Applicability:
The offer is applicable only for customers who have received official communication from HDFC Bank via SMS or email.
25. RuPay Card Holders:
This offer is not applicable for HDFC Bank RuPay Debit Card holders.
26. No Commitment for Future Offers:
Nothing in this offer constitutes a commitment by HDFC Bank to conduct similar promotions in the future.
27. Additional Terms:
The terms of this offer shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the terms contained in the Card Member Agreement.
28. Participation in the Offer:
-HDFC Bank Debit Cardholders are not obligated to participate in this offer.
-Participation is voluntary, and the offer is extended on a best effort basis.
29. Non-Transferability:
This offer is non-transferable to any other person.
30. Partial Cancellation of Transactions:
If a transaction is partially cancelled, the offer will still be valid only if the net cumulative spend remains ?5,000 or more after the refund.
31. Lounge Access Criteria:
-Effective January 1, 2024, lounge access on the debit card will be applicable only for customers with cumulative spends exceeding ?5,000 per quarter (POS, Contactless, or E-Commerce).
-ATM and Wallet spends are excluded.
32. Voucher Redemption Process:
Upon fulfilling campaign criteria's, a customer qualifies as a winner and will receive a mail with voucher fulfilment details. The customer gets to choose a brand from the available wide variety of brands for voucher redemption. The brands include and are not limited to Amazon, Swiggy, Myntra , Bookmyshow etc subject to availability.
